Sunday the third July : Fine
Slept until 8:30 non-stop!! The second step achieved. (The jet-lug can come back though…)
The church was air-conditioned and very comfortable. The eucharisty and I was glad to share the bread in my home church. Meal together and a choir rehearsal in four voices.
My brother drove a 99 year old woman to her home by car and brought me to a DIY shop.
He bought all waht we need to make the wooden structure for the painting that I brought from Belgium for the Charity Market.
I have done nothing apart from little things but it was a fascinating experience!
The painting is rolled up in the beginning. The canvas was made also by Jan Goris, the painter.
Cut woods and prepared the parts.
I love sanding.
Putting four corners together.
No photo of the finished wooden frame, as the photographer has fallen asleep(my daughter).
The difficult task to exactly place the wood to the camvas which has the old marks of the structure from its Belgian expo. The wife of my brother, Mrs.M is a painter herself, and she had such a stable way of controlling the details in her hands. Great to watch, and I was giving Gambare calls in my heart, as the ambiance was rather "sacred" during this work.
Finished, al last, and it was already 9:00.
Thank you!!!!
An impressive team work.
"The mastard seed will grow till the birds would come to sit on" from Paraboles of Jesus, by Yan Goris.
We went direct to the restaurant "Gast".
We ate a lot of all we wanted.
My brother invited us. Merci merci...
It made me feel the big third step was achieved to the Charity Market.
Only on the 5th day, we got this big job done: it lightened my heart a lot!
With the excitment or not, it was 2:00 am when I went to bed, according to my personal diary.
